Digital eye imprinting could be the thing of the future. As technology develops more and more things have to be remembered. As the internet and communication grows we are going to have to use our brains to store a lot more numbers, passwords and other details.
But maybe the brain will not be enough to store such amounts of information so this is where digital eye imprinting could come in. What it would involve is a simple laser treatment whereas you would load all of the information you want to store into the main computer, the system would then imprint this into your retina for future use. What I mean by this is that the public could in fact store passwords that are crucial to them, important or personal phone numbers and even calendar's which you could check on a daily basis to make sure that you have no meetings.
We all know that there is nothing worse then breaking down in your car in the middle of the night and not being able to find the number to call anyone, with the new technology that will be a thing of the past as imprints will allow us to scan numbers through our phonebook and then transfer the digits to our cell phone, so no matter what phone number you are looking to call you can rest assured that it will never be forgotten. The main positive attributes of this over PDAs and paper is that it cannot be mis placed or forgotten, whenever you need to remember something just look at the lower left section of your sight.
